Snap In or an event hashtag?
An event hashtag finds what guests choose to post publicly, compressed and mixed in with strangers' posts. Most photos never get posted at all.
| Snap In | Event hashtags | |
|---|---|---|
| Which photos you get | Every photo guests add | Only what's posted publicly |
| Privacy | Only people with the link | Public |
| Quality | Originals, downloadable in full | Compressed by the social network |
| Guests need | The free app and their phone | An account, and to remember the hashtag |
Our take
Use a hashtag if you'd like your event to appear on social media too. For your own album, ask guests to add photos privately.
